Brothers-in-law Karl Tessendorf and Greg Gilowey produced Beer Country, a South African TV show dedicated to beer and food cooked over a fire. They wrote Beer Country’s Beer. Food. Fire (2019), launched Karoo Dust braai spice and have been involved in multiple award-winning collaboration beers.

Formerly a copywriter, Karl Tessendorf now works as a recipe developer, food and beer writer, and social-media content producer.

Greg Gilowey gave up his industrial design business to devote himself to his love of beer and braai.
