Memoir of Mogamad Salie, covering the years 1971-1988.

Salie was born in Cape Town in 1970. Classified Coloured, he grew up in Salt River and Woodstock. Badly burned as a young child, he was ashamed of his ‘chicken legs'. He excelled in mathematics and went on to study electrical engineering at the University of Cape Town.

Mogamad Salie worked in Switzerland for fifteen years and returned to Cape Town in 2016. He was diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder in his forties.
