Magda and Lufuno are neighbours in an upmarket apartment block in central Cape Town. Strangers to each other and from very different backgrounds, alone and isolated during Covid lockdown, they navigate a relationship around the dividing wall of their balconies.

"A thought-provoking and tender reflection on a period we are still living through with all its fears and uncertainties - but also ... its potential for connection." Karen Rutter, Weekend Special

Actress, director and playwright Clare Stopford was Resident Director and later Associate Artistic Director at the Market Theatre. Later she taught at The Centre for Theatre, Dance and Performance Studies at the University of Cape Town. In 2019 she retired from the university and continues to teach privately, to write and direct.
