South African writer Pravasan Pillay was born in Durban in 1978. He has published two chapbooks of poetry, Glumlazi and 30 Poems; Aiyo!, a chapbook of horror stories; Shaggy, a book of short stories co-written with Anton Krueger, and Chatsworth, his own collection of short stories. He lives in Stockholm, Sweden.
