Afrikaans writer Eben Venter grew up on a sheep farm in the Eastern Cape and lives in Australia. His novels translated into English are My Beautiful Death, Trencherman, Wolf, Wolf and Green as the Sky is Blue. He has won numerous awards including the M-Net Literary Award and the WA Homer Prize.
