Executive coach, consultant and actuary Marjorie Ngwenya was born in Britain and raised in Zimbabwe. She is a past President of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, and has worked with Deloitte as a tax advisor and actuarial manager, Swiss Re in London as a Senior Risk Actuary, Mazars in London as a director, as Chief Risk Officer of Old Mutual Africa in Johannesburg and as Group Strategy Executive at Liberty in South Africa. She served briefly on the Monetary Policy Committee of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and in 2022 was appointed to the Bank of England’s Prudential Regulation Committee.
