On June 16, 1976, Hector Pieterson was shot by police in a peaceful protest by Black South African school students marching against a new law requiring that they be taught in Afrikaans.
Told from the perspectives of twelve-year-old Hector, his sister Antoinette, and Sam Nima, the photographer who took the photograph which made front page news around the world.
