A collection of nearly 600 colour photographs, taken over seven years in the 1980s, when Californian landscape architect and photographer Mark Smoot worked in South Africa. While locked down during the Covid-19 pandemic, Smoot combined the photographs with 26 sketch illustrations and information on construction methods and tribal histories.
