The career of golfer Sewshanker 'Papwa' Sewgolum (1930-1978). In 1959 he won the Dutch Open, which he won again in 1960 and 1964. In 1963 the authorities allowed him to play in the Natal Open at the Durban Country Club. He won the tournament, and returned to win it again in 1965. The apartheid government then refused him further permission to play in White tournaments and withdrew his passport.
