Mapetla Mohapi (1947-1976) was a member of the Black Consciousness Movement and the South African Students Organisation. He was detained in July 1976 and died in August while in police custody. The 'suicide note' produced by the police was found to be a forgery. His wife Nohle who testified a the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, continues to seek justice for the family.
