Professor Dr Peter Breunig (emeritus) was head of the Department of African Archaeology and Archaeobotany at Goethe University's Institute for Archaeological Sciences in Franfurt/Main. His interest in Namibian rock art began in the 1980s.
Dr Gabriel Franke is an Africanist archaeologist at Goethe University and the Frobenius Institute in Franfurt/Main with a special interest in rock art.
