Samson Kambalu was born in Malawi in 1975 and lives in London. He is currently completing a PhD in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art in London and has undertaken research fellowships with Yale University and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington. He has shown his work around the world, most recently at the 11th Dakar Biennale and the 56th Venice Biennale.
