Globe-trotting chef turned African beekeeper turned farmer Jess de Boer writes about her decade of experience working in regenerative agriculture across the East and Horn of Africa.

"Sister Nature is a story generous in fact and creativity, through which Jess gives us the case for changing how we think about our natural world and the global food system." Layla Liebetrau, Project Lead of the Route to Food Initiative

"'This revolution will never take place indoors', chef-turned-beekeeper Jessie de Boer issues a clarion call for each of us to participate in doing our bit to preserve our natural world. It is relevant for every single person, no matter what you do, and de Boer writes beautifully about her and all of our umbilical connection with the natural world. You'll come to be instructed but you'll stay because you're inspired." Roshan Paul, CEO and co-founder of Amani Institute
