Robbie Honey was born and brought up in Zimbabwe. He studied horticulture, interior design and photography in England, the Netherlands Kenya, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Robbie spent more than a decade dissecting and documenting a wide range of flowering plants. More than 90 of these rare and familiar specimens are featured in the book. The plants were collected from across the world including the Malaysian rainforest, roadsides in Harare and Caribbean islands. Each specimen was meticulously arranged and photographed immediately after collection to create detailed photographic plant portraits.
