In 2018 Dr William Russell Pridgeon, founder of the Australian Anti-Paedophile Party, Patrick O'Dea and five others were arrested by the Australian Federal Police and accused of being involved in a child-trafficking. Pridgeon and O'Dea grew up in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and lived in South Africa before moving to New South Wales.
