Novelist and playwright Charles Mungoshi was born in 1947 in the Chivhu district of Zimbabwe. He is the author of the short story collections The Setting Sun and the Rolling World and Walking Still and the novels Waiting for the Rain and Ndiko kupindana kwa mazuva. He died in 2019.
